Sean has been a part of FCA since 2011, becoming an area director in 2017. After a chance to play baseball professionally with the Washington Nationals, God led him to FCA Baseball in Southern California. Ryan Dearing

Area Rep, Ada County Baseball Director

Ryan felt his calling to sports ministry after graduating from Northwest Nazarene University with a Bachelor's in Youth Ministry and a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Formation. He started by volunteering as a huddle leader at the FCA PNW All-Sports Camp in 2019 and began his coaching career the following fall. Since then, Ryan has continued to volunteer, intern, and now work for the ministry of FCA, grateful for the opportunity to coach the next generation of athletes.

Lindsey Lawson

Administrative Assistant, Club/Camp Registrar and Finances

Lindsey has been working for FCA since 2019, starting with FCA Wyoming and now with FCA Sports Idaho. Her family has been a part of FCA almost her entire life, which helped her attend at least twenty FCA camps since she was eight years old! Seeing thousands of athletes' hearts and lives transformed throughout her childhood led Lindsey to obtain her education in sociology and psychology to continue working with FCA.

"...[T]hose who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint." --Isaiah 40:31

Kelsey Camarata

Content Creator, Social Media Strategist

Kelsey wasn't introduced to FCA until after graduating from Washington State University, when she was a huddle leader in 2022 at the FCA PNW All-Sports Camp. She is passionate about helping others understand the deep relationship everyone can have with God beyond going to church on Sundays, and has loved being a part of a ministry that starts this kind of community at such a young age. Kelsey married her husband, Nick, in 2021 and have adopted two dogs since then.

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." --Philippians 4:7

Cheryl Schaefer

Head of Softball Development, Day Camp Head Coach

Cheryl has been leading camps, clinics and private lessons for over eighteen years. After leading her college team all four years and being drafted to Arizona Heat in 2004, she found her passion in college coaching and helping players shine on and off the field in their skills and confidence. After taking a step away from 13 years of coaching to raise her 3 boys, she has coached with FCA to help young athletes learn what she wishes she would've known at their age. She married her husband, Joe, in 2004.
